CVI Film from Holland (English Subtitles)

This is a great, short (9 minute) film with lots of simulations and fun graphics clearly explaining some of the difficulties caused by the higher visual processes affecting how accurately we reach for things and our visual search.

The film shows:

  • why school work can be affected, requiring more time for many with CVI
  • why sports are difficult and avoided for some
  • why safety needs to be carefully considered, especially around roads
  • how CVI can affect recognition
  • the social issues arising from having CVI with some
  • how behaviours can develop, and how CVI can make a person feel angry and frustrated

It is a great introduction to CVI, particularly for those who don't know much about it, simply told through the stories of young people affected.
